Chrissy is perhaps the busiest bee here at Compass Rose. Sometimes we have a hard time keeping track of her, but if you have the chance to pin her down ask her about her new house!  When she is not at Compass Rose, she works on art projects or takes her dogs Yoshi and Tito out for espresso drinks. Paul wanders around the store (and often the world at large) wondering what he should be doing. He is generally most helpful by staying out of the way. But occasionally you will see him at the register, which simply means the store staff is absolutely desperate for help. Liz hails from Amherst Massachusetts (what she calls a real college town…), is a graduate of TESC, and has been the Compass Rose manager since 2009. Which means she has a hand in practically everything you see in the store. And she gets it all done sometimes working less than 100 hours a week. Liz picked the right winter to get a season’s pass at White Pass, and she always seems to be wanting time off for powder days! When she is not up to her neck in studies or work at Compass Rose, Alana prefers to be up to her neck in warm sea water, preferably somewhere between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. She was recently spotted doing yoga on the beach of a small island in the Southern Philippines. We are hoping the allure of Olympia’s cold wet winters (and her graduate studies) will entice Alana to make Olympia her home away from the tropics.
